RSS Says Diverse Opinions Are a Natural Part of Democracy Amid CJP Debate

Senior Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) leader Sunil Ambekar has commented on the growing discussion around the viral social media movement known as the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), stating that differing viewpoints should be seen as a normal feature of a democratic society rather than a cause for concern.

Speaking to reporters, Ambekar emphasized that India functions through strong democratic institutions, transparent elections, and an open environment where people are free to express their opinions. According to him, public discussions, debates, and disagreements are essential aspects of democracy and should not be treated as something unusual or alarming.

The RSS leader noted that modern democratic discourse now extends beyond traditional media to social media platforms, where citizens actively participate in conversations on public issues. He said that such exchanges reflect the strength of India’s democratic framework.

Addressing questions about the rapid rise of CJP, a satirical online movement that has gained significant attention among young people, Ambekar expressed confidence in the country’s institutions. He stated that political parties, the media, and democratic systems are capable of handling debates and controversies without requiring immediate intervention from organizations like the RSS.

Ambekar also spoke positively about India’s younger generation, often referred to as Gen Z. He said that young Indians remain optimistic about the country’s future and continue to contribute through constitutional and democratic means. According to him, the energy and participation of the youth are helping drive progress across different sectors of the nation.

The remarks come as the Cockroach Janta Party continues to attract widespread attention on social media, generating discussions among political leaders, commentators, and the public. While opinions remain divided on the movement, Ambekar maintained that democratic societies naturally create space for multiple voices and perspectives.

Overall, the RSS leader’s message focused on trust in democratic institutions, confidence in India’s youth, and acceptance of differing opinions as an important part of a healthy democracy.
